A poster I have recently designed for the academy footballers at Brentford FC to highlight the sugary issues with sports drinks and their consequences!
Also 3 areas of focus at the bottom of the poster with suggestions to optimise lifestyle choices away from the training grounds!
If you can't read the 3 circles at the bottom they are typed below (apologies, wix only allows JPEG uploads):
Hydration
1. Coconut water has natural sugars and potassium - which helps our body reach optimum hydration!
2. Use Zero’s to increase electrolytes in your drink for better performance!
3. Add lemon juice to water for natural sweetness!
"Treat Drinks"
To make:
1. Soak 2 tea bags in boiling water.
2.Chill in the fridge, then add 1 cup of sparkling or soda water!
Try: mint/strawberry/lemon for a fizzy drink that’s low on sugar and sweet in taste!
Recovery
1. Milk based products post gym/training sessions increase muscle recovery!
2. Milk helps you rehydrate and replaces electrolytes lost through sweat!
3. To make your own protein shake: Mix 1 pint of milk, cocoa powder and mint for a mint choc chip flavour!
